Boeun Woodang Old House, located in Jangan-myeon, Boeun-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea, is the first improved Hanok-style house in South Korea and has over one hundred rooms. Built by the best carpenters of the time, Woodang Old House is surrounded by a hundred-year-old pine forest. It was designated a national folk cultural property in 1984 and has been open to the public since then. Many tourists visit this historic house.
